Carefully crafted words can engage the reader and paint a picture in their mind. However, a well-composed and striking shot can be just as effective and not only look stunning but convey powerful emotions. This is what has drawn me to both photography and journalism.

Working as a journalist and photographer over the past seven years has seen my work published in publications and websites including Total Production International, Sony's The Producer, Televisual, Photoshop Creative, The Washington Post, ABC News and the Asian Express newspaper.

In my current role, as Assistant Editor of Total Production International magazine, I write features and news focus pieces on the production and technology behind the live events industry; encompassing music and entertainment. As my role requires me to represent stories visually too, I photograph shows for the magazine, drawing on my experience as a portrait photographer at Fotek.
